The Truth Behind Anger
Anger is a shield. Let's look behind the mask and see what's actually going on.
"I am safe to see and express who I truly am"

My relationship with anger used to be all-consuming. It came out through OCD, control, passive aggression, sarcasm, shutdowns, and outbursts. It turned inward and outward so often that my life became unmanageable. I didn’t understand it, I just felt out of control, reactive, and enraged all the time, which was followed by shame, guilt and humiliation. That’s why I created The Truth Behind Anger Course (available for free in the services section). It’s more than just learning about anger, it’s a pathway to understanding the truth behind it and what its been trying to tell you.

Anger is a secondary emotion. Beneath it, there’s almost always something tender: grief, fear, sadness, betrayal, heartbreak. But instead of facing those vulnerable places, we use anger as armor. We use it not only to keep other people away, but to keep us away from ourselves. The work I do here is about learning how to take the armor off. How can we cultivate safety within ourselves to be able to express and process the authentic, deeper feelings that anger has been pushing away.

These sessions guide you into those layers. We explore the root of your anger, when it shows up, where you learned that you were unsafe to express your tender feelings, how anger has impacted your life and the lives of others around you, and finally, we process the pain. We build the safety and capacity needed to be vulnerable. We look at where your anger protected you, where it may still serve you, and where it’s now getting in the way. We dive into boundaries, relationships, unmet needs, and the rawness and discomfort of being alive in this world.

This work is about transparency. It’s about reconnecting with who you really are under the layers of defensiveness, aggression, sarcasm, rage, or numbness. You learn how to stop hiding from yourself, how to express your needs and emotions clearly, and how to relate to the world with honesty, safety, and strength, all while understanding discernment of the human condition and developing resilience in the reality of the world we live in. You will become a wise, authentic, and gentler version of yourself.
